Last year my life changed in a very dramatic way. I was doing what I love most and on m final approach to land after an amazing skydive, when I impacted into the ground. I knew instantly something was not right, I could feel my legs and I could move them but they were burning and it felt like millions of ants were walking up and down my legs. I was taken to the hospital and life flighted to another hospital for an emergency surgery on my back. I had completely shattered my T12 Vertebrae and fractured my L1. After 10 surgeries for various complications, I was left with no limited to no feeling in both of my legs and not able to move my right leg. I began my road to recovery and thanks to the help of Wings for Life I have a KAFO which is enabling me to actually walk to suport the global effort in this year's Walk for Life. Thank you so much for all of your efforts in trying to find a cure for spinal cord injury survivors.
Thanks!
Adam
